About me: Hello, I am a red turkana cichlid. You can keep me well together with cichlids of the same size. Keeping me in pairs is ideal for me. For me to feel comfortable a sandy bottom or a bottom of gravel, with lots of hiding places, is ideal. I tolerate large differences in water quality. Because of my size and my not so clear behavior, I am unfortunately less suitable for beginners. There are different statements about my peaceful or aggressive behavior.
